EDIT is a leading Summer IT school in the South East Europe, created for students who want to strengthen their academic knowledge with practical experience.
The students who join EDIT get an opportunity to boost their IT skills by working on challenging real-world projects. They also get a chance to make meaningful connections and put their teamwork and leadership abilities to the test.
EDIT is not an ordinary Summer School. Here, the participants get to work on the latest technologies, but also learn about:

- challenges facing IT professionals
- teamwork and collaboration.
And there’s plenty of fun along the way!
#EDIT20 is also open for international students from countries beyond Southeast Europe.

#EDITworld20 Slovenia, 10–14 August 2020: SmartDock GUI time-slots
Interested in improving businesses by revolutionizing their management? How about learning to develop an intuitive, user-friendly tool, that can better their resource planning, simplify communication and reduce costs? Now that’s what we call a boosted employability! Wouldn’t you agree?
At this year’s EDIT summer school, you’ll learn how to gain full control over dock and yard management system using only graphical user interface (GUI) that tracks and displays desired information. In order to help you create awesome mock-ups of the view, we’ll share with you a blueprint of our successful solution, SmartDock (https://smartdock.at/en/). Wonder why SmartDock is such a good example?
SmartDock (https://smartdock.at/en/) is a software solution for dock & yard management, where one can optimally match shipments and deliveries with available resources – docks, equipment and people – and maximize their utilization and minimizes congestion, using communication with suppliers, carriers and truck drivers. It’s ideal for yards with many docks, where one manager finds it hard to keep up with all the daily variables, since he can easily see all time-slots for all docks. Such complexity (different time-slot lengths and dock types) is difficult to present in a standard calendar view. That’s where a solution like SmartDock comes in and saves the day!
