Hacking the hackers with security incidents analytics & insights
In the digital age, data is the new gold and applications represent a gold mine for hackers. Creating a data protection strategy has become a top priority for all IT professionals. #EDIT17 Maribor, July 17 – 28, 2017:
Clever Chatbots as a Business Communication Interface
Communication between consumers and businesses is expanding with incredible speed into a digital service: the chatbot. The surge of chat applications available on the market (Messenger, Snapchat, Viber, WeChat, etc.) supports the statistic that now messaging apps are more popular than social networks.
Not only do these programs enable additional user interactions, but they are supported by artificial intelligence that enables consumers to carry out purchases, perform search queries, create reservations and other activities related to a website’s specific services. Excellent examples of chatbot capabilities include Skyscanners or Domino’s Pizza bots, that facilitate and streamline purchase requests through Skype.
In the EDIT Summer School, students will develop their own chatbot to support the gaming industry’s user experience. With the help of your product, players will be able to perform actions through chatbot conversations and ultimately avoid ineffective online customer service forms.
Students will create their chatbot using Bot Builder SKD open-code solutions and Microsoft’s Cognitive Services, a cloud service that recognises different languages, text, emotions and other API integrations. The final product will be then integrated into one or more communication platforms and tested for efficiency and effectiveness.
What you’ll learn:
- How to simulate human behaviour in customer service and data acquisition
- Use natural language processing systems (NLP) for B2C marketing
- Influencing the user experience and user life-cycles to optimise growth opportunities
Technologies: .NET, REST, NodeJS, itd.
Domains: Gaming Industry, Artificial Intelligence, Data Services, Dialog Systems
This project will help you:
- Learn how to build a chatbot
- Enhance your CV
- Understand how to solve real-life business problems using technology
- Expand your skill set with in-demand IT skills
